I. The Blood Will Be a Sign (12:1-30)

1. What key item was needed to celebrate the LORD's Passover? (1-4) Were they to obtain any one they had at any time they wanted to celebrate Passover? (5-6) What do you think they thought when they first received the instructions about the blood? (7) Were they to prepare and eat the meal any way they wanted? (8-11) What would John the Baptist later realize about Passover and the Messiah? (John 1:29; Luke 22:7-8, 14-22; and 1 Cor. 5:6-8; and 1 Peter 1:18-19)

2. How would the Lord distinguish at the time of the judgement? (12-13) What does yeast represent? (14-16; Luke 12:1; Matt. 16:12; Gal. 5:7-9) What was the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Israelites? (17-20)

III. The Lord Brought Them Out (12:43-51)
