I. The Time (29:1-3)

II. The Letter (29:4-23)
2. What news did the Lord want the exiles to know? (4-6) What were they to do that must have seen completely ridiculous? (7) How is Jesus' teaching the same? (Matthew 5:43-48)
3. Who was it important to ignore? (8-9) While we wait for Jesus' coming how can we apply these words to our lives?
4. How long would the captivity be? (10-11) HOw can we find God? (13-14) Is he confined to a location or a time?
5. What did the exiles believe? (15) What should they realize about those who still remained in Judah? (16-18) What did neither group do? (19)
