I. It is God Who Judges (75:1-10)

>1. How does the psalm begin? What does it mean that God's name is near? What are men doing?

* Psalm 75:1 "We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks, for your Name is near; men tell of your wonderful deeds."

* The title is, "For the director of music. (To the tune of) "Do Not Destroy." A psalm of Asaph. A song."

* "We" -Verse 1 is the congregation giving thanks and praise, perhaps lead or represented in praise by one of the descendants of Asaph (9-10).
