I. Manasseh and Ephraim (48)

1. When Jacob was nearing the end of his life in this world what did Joseph do? What did Jacob tell Joseph? (3-4) What does "a community of nations" mean? Why is this significant to those who believe in Jesus and are not of Israel?

2. What did Jacob tell Joseph he wanted him to do? Why Joseph and not any of his other sons?

3. Who were Joseph's son's mother? (41:45, 50-52) What did Jacob do that was against custom of those days? (5-9) What is significant about the crossing of the hands? (12-14) What did Joseph try to do? What did Jacob tell him the reason for what he had done? (19-21)
