I. The Lord's Fatherly Love (11:1-11)

1. What did the Lord say about Israel in verse 1? How was this fulfilled in Jesus? (Matt. 2:14-15) What can be learned about studying the word of God?

2. What can be learned about the Lord in verses 2-4? How determined was the Lord when Israel did not return his love? (5-7) Is the Lord the same today? (Heb. 6:4-12)

II. The Punishment (11:12-13:16)
